About Us
Auto Workers for Trump was founded in 2017 by Ford hourly employee and UAW member Brian Pannebecker.
Brian worked for over 36 years in the auto industry, 11 years for Chrysler and 25 years for Ford. During this time, he witnessed the decline of the U.S. auto industry with dozens of plant closures and hundreds of thousands of jobs being lost, and the effects this had on his hometown in Michigan and towns across America.
Brian saw in Donald Trump the one person who truly cared about American auto workers and had a real plan to make America’s auto industry great again.
Our Story
In 2017, Brian felt that auto workers who supported President Trump needed a place to voice their support of our newly elected president, so he started a Facebook page “Auto Workers for Trump” with 30 UAW members and conservative coworkers. These 30 'charter members' were all dedicated America First Trump supporters! The group quickly grew to over 1,000 members, virtually all UAW members.
Soon retired auto workers and auto supply workers were requesting to join. Membership quickly grew to over 3,800 members, from plants around the Detroit area, and across the Midwest.
During the COVID pandemic, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg's "fact checkers" began to censor the group's opinions. First with warnings, then with suspensions while shadow-banning the entire group.
After the rigged 2020 election, Facebook’s oppressive censorship had virtually silenced the voices of Auto Workers for Trump’s members and Brian decided to shut down the page and restart under a new group “Auto Workers for Trump 2024.”
Since then, the Auto Workers for Trump 2024 Facebook page has grown to over 2,400 members and auto workers’ voices are once again being heard.
To add to this momentum, Auto Workers for Trump has partnered with The MAGA Mall, a retailer and wholesaler of fine quality MAGA products, and its president, Ronald Solomon, a strong supporter of President Trump, to launch our new website, Auto Workers for Trump 2024, where our members and supporters can follow events, news about Auto Workers for Trump and purchase high quality merchandise to support Auto Workers for Trump 2024, and President Trump’s MAGA agenda!
